Lucie Ocenas:  31 going on 12.

Ms. Smutcycle is an experienced traveller and mischief-maker, Lucie puts the 'vent' in adventure.  Originally from communist roots in the Czech Republic, she has made her way through many a city in the U.S. by bike and has had some general travels and childhood livin' abroad.  She's a gung-ho bike mechanic and bike tourer, as well as a champion of the non-profit organization with big plans for some (perhaps bike related?) non-profit in the near future...

 

Amy Blake:  24, the Javelina (which is a large, feral, tusked brush hog for those of you who aren't in the know), returned to her native California in 2004 after a four-year stint on the East Coast.  School was on her mind until the hair brained scheme to bike through Central America from Texas surfaced.  She'd like to ride her bike forever, but after the trip she plans to go to school for nursing. Amy believes that you can't make any rules for English, and refuses to follow the "I before E" rule...
